Mason Jar Easter Craft

I gathered a couple of girls over the weekend to make some Easter crafts.  I borrowed this idea from Passionate Penny Pincher.

Gather your supplies – I used these adorable Half Pint Mason Jars

and these sweet ceramic painting sets from Dollar Tree.  We used craft paint because its what we had but spray paint dries faster and has better adhesion to the metal.

Hot glue your ceramic figurine to the lid of your mason jar

then start painting in fun spring colors!

We filled the jars with Easter grass and speckled jelly beans!

Aren’t they the cutest?!  And its the perfect burst of color to welcome in Springtime!

Next, we used the pint size Mason Jars but painted the glass instead of the lid.  Once dry, we roughed it up lightly with some sand paper.  I used mine as a vase and added some spring {artificial} flowers.

Happy Easter to all my peeps!

Luke 24: 6 – 7
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
