Wow, I have missed you all! I’m so sorry I have fallen off the grid. There has been quite a lot happening in my household lately. Well, I would love to fill you in but there is not enough time in the day 😦
Today I am going to share Deer Chili. This one is Mr. Alabama Spice’s favorite.
First, brown the deer meat. 2 pounds will do the trick- If you do not like the game taste of deer meat, add about 5 T of Worcestershire Sauce as it is browning and it will help knock that taste down a bit.
While the meat is browning, gather all remaining ingredients. 2 packs of Mild Chili Seasoning, 4 cans Chili Beans (do not drain or rinse) 2 Large cans of diced tomatoes ( do not drain)
If you like to live on the wild side, go ahead and chop and onion and a clove off garlic. That will be nice as well. Once the meat is browned completely with no pink left and clear juices running, combine all in a 6 qt slow cooker.
Cook on Low for 6-8 hours or High for 2-4 hours.
I hope you all enjoy this meal as much as we did. It will be the last with the above ingredients. This little lady has to eat gluten free now so stop by for some exciting changes in the menu and stories that are sure to make you giggle!
Her cousin picked her up that day, that is why she has all the SUGAR!!! So you all know who I will be sending the dental bill to 🙂
Have a great day everyone!
